[EP] Chemogen.-Welcome To New Earth [2011]

Welcome to New Earth is the debut offering from
South African producer Chemogen (Aviv Hallale).A
four track digital EP showcasing his tendency toward
powerful basslines and groovy percussion, the release
is a striking example of what has led to Chemogen's
increased popularity in his native Cape Town.

Always with a sense of the surreal, Hallale describes
the work as 'a journey through the grime of a dystopian
future' and that sums it up pretty neatly. Chemogen's
comic book sensibilities and intellectual leanings are
apparent in every track, and the album presents a sound
that is not a typical regurgitation of other work, but is
unique to the artist in question.

One Foot Groove is proud to present, and hopes you

that has been with the label for some time, an association
