[EP] Elektrik Boy - Waveform De Generator (2013)

Marco Teixeira is the man behind the Elektrik Boy project. He felt a "strange" affection for this style, not only because of its sounds but also for the math represented in music. By the age of 16 he had his first serious encounter with music and started a band with a friend and continued to play in various bands for a while, until he started to experiment with electronic music by the turn of the century. By 2002 he started seeing some success with a live electronic act DiF_Fusion, a project including a bassist, a saxophonist, occasionally a drummer and himself on the guitars and synths, and after a CD release with Portuguese label Vensil Records, they performed all over Portugal. It was only in 2007 that he decided to start producing psy trance and by 2010 he had cemented the Elektrik Boy act as a serious force for the future. He has gone on to release 5 EP's and many singles on VA's the world over. His sound is a fusion of throbbing beats, electrifying twists and turns, melodies, guitars and rhythm, and some PHAT BASS of course! The Waveform De-generator aims to deconstruct the electrical impulses at the very edge of consciousness, tapping into the vibration that is life itself. Much like tribes throughout history have used ritual dance, unleashing the true human spirit, a sacred Dance of Life. Soaring through complex layers of pure emotion, creating a true state of inspiration, breathing in the ecstasy of creation.
